About the Role

As a Composite Assembler, you’ll be responsible for assembling, bonding, shaping, trimming, and repairing composite parts using standard operating procedures. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will ensure every product meets design and engineering specifications. This is a physically active role where you'll work with various tools and materials in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, BOMs, and specifications

• Operate hand tools, cutters, measuring equipment, and light machinery

• Cut, shape, inject, cure, braid, sew, and bond composite materials

• Perform quality checks and identify product defects

• Rework or repair assemblies as needed based on engineering changes

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

• Lift up to 40 lbs. and stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours/day)

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED

  • OR at least 2 years of relevant experience in lieu of education

• Minimum 1 year of assembly or manufacturing experience

• Ability to read technical documents and use hand tools safely

• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

Preferred:

• 3+ years of composite assembly experience

• Familiarity with composite lay-up and repair techniques
