Pay Rate: $25.50-$25.75 per hour

 About the Role

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a detail-driven Operations - Inspector to support critical aerospace manufacturing operations. As an Inspection Technician II, you'll play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of quality by inspecting components and assemblies—ensuring every product meets strict engineering and workmanship criteria.

Your work directly impacts flight safety, product performance, and customer satisfaction across the aerospace industry.

 What You’ll Do

• Conduct Incoming, In-Process, and Final Inspections according to documented procedures

• Perform audits and SAP transactions to maintain accurate inspection records

• Interpret technical drawings and bills of materials

• Use precision inspection tools like calipers, micrometers, and height gauges

• Determine product acceptance per documentation and quality standards

• Document and report discrepancies clearly and accurately

• Support multiple product lines and commodities

• Answer quality and inspection-related questions from internal teams

• Maintain current skills, knowledge, and certifications required for the role

• Prioritize tasks to meet production schedules

• Perform other duties as assigned

 What You’ll Need

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED (vocational/technical education preferred)

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in inspection or related quality role

• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

Preferred:

• Familiarity with SAP or Oracle ERP systems

• Previous experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing environment
