Key Responsibilities:
• Perform verification and inspection of flight component installations and aircraft system functional testing.
• Inspect and troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and avionics systems to identify and document faults.
• Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections, as well as maintenance and modification checks prior to delivery.
• Support documentation of issues identified during operations and testing of deliverable products.
• Verify work performed, including self-inspections when applicable.
• Assist with pre-delivery and aircraft maintenance inspections.
• Document non-conformance records with minimal assistance.
• Plan, schedule, and arrange tasks with guidance from a lead.
• Physical & Work Requirements:
• Ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift up to 35 lbs.
• Frequent exposure to noise, elevated platforms, and metal surfaces.
• Ability to wear required PPE (face, eyes, ears, hands, arms).
• Must pass visual acuity and color perception tests.
• Frequent standing, walking, overhead reaching, and balancing on ladders/uneven surfaces.
• Occasional sitting, crawling, squatting, bending, or 2-person lifts (over 50 lbs).
• Must handle, use, and dispose of hazardous materials safely.
• Obtain and maintain required training certifications.
Basic Qualifications (Required):
• Ability to work any shift (days, nights, weekends).
• 3+ years of experience in the aerospace industry.
• 3+ years of experience in quality inspection and/or auditing.
• 3+ years of experience working with Velocity and other 787 production applications.
• Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired):
• FAA Airframe & Power Plant (A&P) license.
• 3+ years of Foreign Object Debris (FOD) risk experience.
• 3+ years of 787 program experience.
• 2+ years of formal/informal team leadership experience.
• Proficiency in REDARS, PSDS, and BAC specifications.
• Skilled in NCR/EPD generation (NC/NCR/RGEN/PU/SAT/SRR/PU or RGEN Revision).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• 3+ years of flight line operations experience.
