Description:
We are seeking an experienced NDT Quality Test Specialist with recent Eddy Current certification to perform non-destructive testing (NDT) on aircraft structures and components. This role is responsible for inspection, data collection, analysis, and supporting corrective actions to ensure product integrity and compliance with aerospace standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform setup, calibration, and operation of specialized non-destructive test equipment.
• Conduct Eddy Current inspections on aircraft components (bolt holes, corrosion/thickness, surface/sub-surface, and conductivity).
• Develop and follow documented procedures and technique sheets for testing.
• Collect, analyze, and document test results in quality records and reports.
• Assist with corrective action recommendations and provide feedback on adverse trends.
• Support certification preparation training and compliance with NDT standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams and regulatory agencies as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience as an NDT Quality Test Specialist.
• Recent NDI certification in Eddy Current.
• Aviation industry experience.
• Ability to work variable shifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd).
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
• Associate’s degree or higher.
• Current NDT Level II certification in Eddy Current.
• Experience with ET MAUS and ET Low Frequency methods.
• Experience working with regulatory agencies (DCMA, FAA, Military).
• Previous Boeing experience.
