JOB TITLE: Machine Maintenance Assistant
LOCATION: Archbald, PA
PAY RATE: $24.71/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Shift: 1st Shift Monday Thursday, 6:00 AM 4:30 PM EST

Summary:

Follow manufacturer schedules to lubricate plant machinery (shafts, sprockets, drive chains, gears, pulleys, etc.) using proper oils/greases.

Fill/recharge sumps and reservoirs for lubrication and cooling systems.

Keep written records of all lubrication activities.

Clean fittings/surfaces before applying lubricants, remove excess, and clean spills.

Report leaks, worn parts, or potential hazards to supervisor.

Assist maintenance with periodic equipment upkeep.

Use a refractometer to set up coolant stations/machines to correct concentrations.

Maintain coolant, lubricant, and spill control supplies.

Collect and dispose of machine chips.

Check and maintain fluid levels in forklifts and material-moving equipment.

Operate forklift, scissor lift, or other equipment as needed.

Requirements:

High School Diploma (degree not required)

Ability to obtain/maintain forklift certification (must pass LM certification) this role involves regular forklift use.

1 2 years experience in lubrication/maintenance of machine shop equipment.

Ability to work safely with chemicals and solvents.

Safety shoes required

Prior machine shop experience preferred.

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
