PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to support a leading aerospace client’s engineering initiatives. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in NX, Teamcenter, and ASME Y14.5 standards, ready to contribute to the design and development of advanced aerospace systems.
Your Role and Impact
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll be part of a collaborative engineering team focused on designing innovative aerospace products and systems. You’ll contribute to all phases of product development, from conceptual design to manufacturing, while ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer expectations.
What You’ll Do
- Design and develop aerospace components and systems using NX CAD modeling.
- Apply ASME Y14.5 standards for geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
- Collaborate across engineering teams to solve complex design challenges.
- Conduct engineering analysis and weight optimization.
- Support design for manufacturing and cost estimation.
- Present product concepts and incorporate customer feedback.
- Participate in conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design phases.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- 3+ years of mechanical design experience using NX and Teamcenter.
- Experience in engine or APU design.
- Proven application of ASME Y14.5 standards in drawing creation and review.
- Experience in composite design.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Initiative and ownership in solving engineering problems.

Pay Details: $44.70 per hour
