Location: Mesa, AZ
Schedule: Full-Time | Consultant | 6-Month Contract
Shift: Variable Rotating Shifts (1st: 5:00 AM–1:00 PM | 2nd: 1:00 PM–9:00 PM | 3rd: 9:00 PM–5:00 AM)
Training Schedule: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM during training week, then transition to an available shift with a trainer
Starting Pay Rate: $21.65  per hour

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking Emergency Dispatch Specialists to support a high-priority aerospace client in Mesa, AZ. This critical role is part of the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC), where rapid response and calm under pressure are key to ensuring the safety of personnel, facilities, and operations across the U.S.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer and enter emergency calls accurately and promptly

• Dispatch fire and security personnel while monitoring multiple radio channels

• Deliver approved Pre-Arrival Instructions following established procedures

• Make timely and appropriate notifications to internal and external contacts

• Collaborate in a team environment under dynamic, high-pressure conditions

• Assist with training and support the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

• Obtain Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) certification (training provided on-site)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a multitasking, team-based role

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint

• Availability to work variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  
  This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent military/work experience

• Prior experience as an emergency dispatcher or in a related security/fire role

• Experience performing under stress in a collaborative team setting

• Ability to manage multiple audio inputs while documenting in a Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system

• Professional communication skills across radio, phone, and in-person interactions

• Demonstrated accountability and receptiveness to feedback
