PDS Tech Commercial is seeking two highly experienced Senior Advanced/ Project Engineer to support a leading aerospace client’s Engines & Power Systems (E&PS) division. This team is driving innovation in turbofan, turboprop, and turboshaft engines, as well as electric propulsion and power-generation systems. Your Role and Impact
As a Senior Advanced Project Engineer, you’ll oversee the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge aerospace systems. You’ll lead cross-functional teams, manage project timelines and budgets, and ensure technical excellence across all phases of development.

What You’ll Do

• Lead project planning, scheduling, and execution to meet delivery and budget goals.

• Supervise engineering teams in the design and analysis of propulsion systems.

• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain teams.

• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.

• Ensure thorough documentation of specifications, design changes, and compliance reports.

What You’ll Bring
Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).

• 5+ years of experience in engine design, turbofan or fan module design, engine module leadership, and aircraft/propulsion certification and testing.

• Strong program management skills with experience in EVMS, cost account management, Jira/Agile tools, and systems engineering.

• Proven ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.

• Experience working with aircraft OEMs and key stakeholders.

• Willingness to relocate or currently local to Phoenix, AZ.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional Engineer (PE) license or relevant certifications.

• Experience in electric propulsion or hybrid aerospace systems.

• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

• Pay Rate: \$64/hr (based on experience)

• Shift: 1st Shift – Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
