As a Lead Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing a critical program. You will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of engineering projects, driving operational excellence, and improving project delivery. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and define project scope, objectives, and deliverables will contribute to the overall success of the program. Your role will also involve monitoring project progress and ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets, which will help in maintaining efficient project management practices. You will report directly to your manager, and you'll work out of Torrance or Tempe locations on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will have a significant impact on the success of the program. You will be responsible for leading a team of engineers, coordinating project activities, and ensuring the timely and successful completion of deliverables. Your expertise in project management and your ability to drive results will be crucial in meeting the program's goals and objectives. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead and manage the program, ensuring successful execution of engineering projects
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets
• Coordinate project activities and resources to ensure timely and successful completion of deliverables
• Provide leadership and guidance to the project team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
YOU MUST HAVE
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as engineering
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, preferably in the aerospace industry
• Proven track record of successfully leading and managing complex engineering projects
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
