Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Shift: 4/10 1st Shift (Mon Thu, 5 AM 3:30 PM EST)

Summary:

Performs a variety of production assembly tasks on electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies, including modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.

Soldering wires and terminals, working from diagrams and drawings, making initial layouts, and using hand and power tools.

Conducts continuity checks on work in process and completed assemblies.

Perform quality inspections on the production line according to specifications, and disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies under simulated conditions.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

Mechanical assembly experience required; soldering experience a plus

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wire harness prints

Experience with mechanical and electrical systems assembly

Proficiency using a microscope for component assembly

Basic computer skills (email, file access, SharePoint, etc.)

Must read, write, and communicate in English

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
