Clearance: Active Secret clearance (with 5-year background investigation)

Hybrid: 2 days onsite / 2 days remote during contract assignment

Summary:

Perform the Design and Documentation Checking function for mechanical, electrical, and electronic packaging engineering drawings and specifications.

Verify format, specification compliance, completeness, accuracy, design soundness, ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards, ASME Y-series Drawing and Documentation standards, fabrication/producibility, assembly/installation validity, tolerance analysis, BOM verification, and configuration control.

Review engineering drawings and specifications for compliance, accuracy, and design integrity

Perform tolerance analysis and ensure adherence to ASME Y14.5 GD&T and ASME Y-series standards

Verify BOM accuracy and configuration data

Review and process change requests and notifications

Validate fabrication, producibility, assembly, and installation requirements

Perform model-based definition and model checking

Utilize Windchill for documentation and configuration management

Requirements:

Active Secret clearance (with 5-year background investigation)

Bachelor s degree with 8 10 years experience, Master s with 6 8 years, or 15 20 years relevant experience in lieu of degree

5+ years in Mechanical and/or Electronic Packaging Design and/or Design Checking

8+ years with ASME Y-series standards

Proficiency in Windchill, tolerance analysis, GD&T, electro/mechanical design, and model checking

Experience with BOM verification, configuration management, and change control

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
