Summary:
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Quality Inspection Technician to join our aerospace team in Carson, CA. In this critical role, you will ensure products meet the highest standards for quality, compliance, and safety—directly impacting the success of aerospace programs. Your expertise will help us deliver precise, reliable components that meet strict industry and client requirements.

Position Details:

• Job Type: Full-Time; Consultant (4 Months)

• Location: Carson, CA 90745

• Shift: 2nd Shift | 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (some flexibility)

• Pay Rate: $32.00/hour

• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

What You’ll Do:

• Perform inspections, audits, tests, and validations to verify compliance with contracts, client specifications, and internal quality standards.

• Review and validate material and product certifications.

• Conduct sampling inspections per approved procedures.

• Operate and maintain precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, thread gauges, plug gauges).

• Provide training and guidance to other inspection team members.

• Prepare and submit detailed activity and status reports to management.

• Support continuous improvement and quality assurance initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 2–3 years of experience in a quality inspection role.

• Familiarity with material and product certifications.

• Basic knowledge of inspection tools and measuring equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) qualification.

• Strong understanding of precision measurement and inspection processes.

• Aerospace or government contract experience.
