Summary:
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspection Technician to support critical aerospace projects in Carson, CA. In this role, you will perform inspections, tests, and validations to ensure products meet the highest standards for compliance, safety, and performance. Your work will play a vital role in delivering precision-engineered components and systems that meet rigorous customer and industry requirements.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Full-time; Consultant (4 Months)

• Location: Carson, CA 90745

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 4:00 AM – 12:30 PM (some flexibility)

• Pay Rate: $30/hour

• This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct tests, inspections, audits, and validations to ensure compliance with contracts, client specifications, and internal quality standards.

• Perform sampling inspections following approved plans and procedures.

• Validate material and product certifications for accuracy and completeness.

• Use and maintain precision inspection tools, measuring devices, and test equipment.

• Provide training and mentoring to other inspection personnel.

• Prepare and submit accurate activity and status reports to management.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with corrective actions when required.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 2–3 years of experience in an inspection role.

• Familiarity with material and product certifications.

• Basic knowledge of inspection tools (e.g., calipers, thread gauges, plug gauges).

Preferred Qualifications:

• GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) qualification.

• Strong understanding of precision measuring techniques.

• Aerospace or government contract experience.
