Chipton-Ross is seeking 3 (three) Inspectors for a contract opportunity in Oldsmar, FL.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE): Must be able to work under a microscope for up to 10 hours a day. - Must have prior experience inspecting solder connections and/or in assembly build experience on circuit card assemblies in accordance with IPC-A-610 & IPC-J-STD-001 requirements. - Minimum 2 year solder/visual Inspection experience on circuit card assemblies, or in lieu of quality inspection 3 years manufacturing/soldering experience of Electronic Assemblies. - Minimum 1 year conformal coating experience -Detailed and process oriented, proficient at interpreting drawings, diagrams, parts lists, navigating and understanding IPC standards, revision control, reference documents and work instructions. - Team player with strong verbal and written communication skills - Proficient with Personal Computers. -Interfaces effectively and diplomatically with all levels of manufacturing when addressing quality defects. Must have prior IPC-610 and J-STD experience, resume must reflect prior solder history. Candidates must read/write in English.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Uses predetermined methods, inspection operations and prescribed specifications to visually inspect solder and conformal coating of circuit card assemblies IAW IPC-A-610 & IPC-J-STD-001 requirements. Role will incorporate instructions, drawings or inspection instructions and checklists, various measuring devices (dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, etc) to visually inspect circuit card assemblies to manufacturing and industry specifications including IPC and related reference documents and standards.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS (Skills Matrix): Basic Computer Skills. 1-2 years experience with Documentation Skills. 2-4 years experience IPC-A-610. 2-4 years experience IPC-J-STD. 1-2 years experience with Measurement Standards. Soldering. 2-4 years experience Visual Inspection.
REQUIRED EDUCATION: Accredited High School Diploma or GED.
WORK HOURS: Full-Time-4/10-1st Shift. Monday through Thursday 05:00am-03:30pm
