Description:
Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Dimension Control Technician 3's for a contract opportunity in Palmdale, CA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
High school diploma or equivalent and 8+ years of relevant experience.
Tool building experience, Machine shop experience, Tool Knowledge, fabrication and assembly.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Looking for a DCT 3 who Lays out, fabricates and assembles a variety of standard and nonstandard major jigs, fixtures, tool masters, master tooling gauges, and related tooling involving compound angels and complex contours where the establishment and coordination to exacting tolerances of numerous tooling holes and reference points between several planes are required. Plans work to be performed and determines methods and sequence of operations working from tool design drawings or own designs. Sets up and operates optical instruments to check overall and detailed alignment, fit, or adjustment of assemblies. Develops and designs holding devices and jig and fixture details. Prepares operational sequences and shop drawings covering parts fabrication and assembly to be performed by others. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
Perform/support assignment maintenance/repair/inspection and housekeeping.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
Laser tracker experience, Verisurf, Mastercam, Understanding blueprint drawings.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
High School Diploma/GED is required.
School must be accredited.

WORK HOURS:
Full-Time 4/10 or 3/10 workweek. Must be willing to work any shift, 1st and 2nd shift are Monday through Thursday.
1st is 5:00 AM - 3:50 PM and 2nd is 4:12 PM - 2:42 AM.
Friday through Sunday 1st Shift 5:00 am through 3:30 pm
