JOB TITLE: Embedded Software Engineer - DEFENSE
LOCATION: Grand Prairie, TX
PAY RATE: $96.20/hour

Job Details:

Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Clearance: Active SECRET security clearance

Assignment: Monday Thursday 4/10 in-plant assignment

Project: Embedded real-time software development for PAC-3 products

Industry: Aerospace / Defense / Aviation

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Design, develop, operate, and maintain software and firmware integrated with engineering, scientific, and manufacturing requirements

Apply standards, processes, and tools throughout the system development life cycle

Support applications including:

Laboratory simulations

Flight control and display systems

Avionics, mechanical, and electrical systems

Weapons and armament

Commercial and military aircraft systems

Mobile and ground-based defense systems

Space systems and related applications

Interface with customers, suppliers, users, and technical/support personnel

Requirements:

Active SECRET security clearance

Bachelor s degree required

Proficiency in Ada programming language

Experience with Linux (CentOS)

Knowledge of real-time embedded software

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with C++

Familiarity with software factory concepts

Experience with GitLab and Docker

Knowledge of VxWorks

Advanced Linux CentOS skills
