Summary:

Perform visual inspection of solder joints and conformal coatings on circuit card assemblies (CCA) following IPC-A-610 and IPC-J-STD-001 standards.

Use drawings, inspection instructions, checklists, and measuring devices (dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, etc.) to ensure compliance with manufacturing and industry specifications.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

Ability to work under a microscope

Minimum 2 years solder/visual inspection experience on CCAs, or 3 years manufacturing/soldering experience on electronic assemblies as an alternative

Minimum 1 year conformal coating experience

Detail-oriented and process-driven, proficient in interpreting drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC standards, revision control, reference documents, and work instructions

Strong verbal and written communication skills; effective team player

Proficient with personal computers

Able to interface diplomatically with manufacturing teams when addressing quality issues

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
