PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an Associate Production Engineering Specialist to play a key role in shaping the future of helicopter manufacturing. In this position, you’ll translate engineering design data into precise work instructions, streamline production processes, and collaborate across multiple teams to ensure world-class aircraft assembly and delivery.
What You’ll Do
Convert engineering design data into work instructions for sheet metal, composite, and electrical components.
Support the Production Engineering Specialist (PES) team in creating and maintaining accurate data structures in the MRP system.
Recommend process improvements to enhance production efficiency.
Coordinate with engineering, planning, procurement, quality, and manufacturing teams.
Maintain configuration control for all parts, assemblies, and aircraft.
Conduct audits, evaluate sequencing, and ensure compliance with industrial schedules.
Required Qualifications
Associate degree or equivalent (2 years of work experience) in a related field.
Minimum 1 year of experience in manufacturing or customization environments.
Understanding of industrial/manufacturing processes.
Computer proficiency.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
SAP and MRP systems experience.
Familiarity with FAA Part 21 and Part 145 production environments.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical standards.
