Summary:
Manage and expedite the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within and between departments, ensuring alignment with production and shipping schedules or supervisor priorities.
Reviewing production schedules, coordinating with supervisors to identify material needs or shortages, requisitioning materials, and organizing delivery sequences based on job order priorities and material availability.
Arrange in-plant transfers, monitors material condition, verifies material types, and may oversee conveyor system operations.
Responsibilities also include maintaining inventory records, compiling production reports, and transporting materials using hand or industrial trucks.
Support operations team with part transportation and inventory validation
Manage inventory using computer systems
Perform inventory counts and support warehouse environment operations
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
2-3 years of stockroom or crib procedures experience
Competent with warehouse equipment and rotating shift work
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
2-3 years experience with computerized inventory or warehouse management systems
Regular and predictable attendance
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Physical Requirements:
Ability to ascend/descend ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift up to 35 lbs (occasional two-person lift over 50 lbs)
Frequent reaching, walking, standing on various surfaces, balancing on ladders, climbing 3-12 ft ladders
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) for face, eyes, ears, hands, and arms
Pass visual acuity and color perception tests
Handle hazardous materials safely
Frequent exposure to noise and elevated platforms
Ability to stand and move for extended periods
