Summary:

    Plan, organize, and prioritize work based on project deliverables.

    Perform detailed stress analysis of metallic and composite fuselage components using classical hand methods and Finite Element techniques to support structural design changes.

    Review and analyze design modifications.

    Verify fatigue, static, and damage tolerance loads.

    Generate stress substantiation reports.

    Develop and review structural qualification plans in compliance with OEM standards and regulatory requirements.

    Review and approve vendor drawings, stress reports, and test reports as needed.

    Collaborate with design engineers, team leads, suppliers, and technical management to ensure designs meet deliverables and regulatory requirements.

    Participate in design reviews, present stress analysis findings, and challenge design solutions when necessary.

    Compile and present progress reports to communicate deliverable status.

    Demonstrate a strong work ethic and urgency in meeting project deadlines.

Requirements:

    ABET-accredited engineering degree required.

    3 5 years of experience in Aerospace Stress Engineering.

    Prior experience using Boeing Commercial analysis methods/tools.

    Experience with both composite and metallic structures preferred.

    Previous Boeing experience required; within the last 5 years preferred.

    Proficiency in static (FE and free-body), fatigue, and transient analysis using Nastran, Patran, and Abaqus.

    Ability to perform detailed stress analysis using both classical hand calculations and Finite Element methods.

    Strong knowledge of Engineering Mechanics and Strength of Materials.

    Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.

    Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
