Summary:
Fabricate, assemble, and inspect composite and metal parts.
Prepare materials using solvents and cleaning solutions.
Operate cutting, forming, pressing, perforating, and curing equipment, including ovens and autoclaves.
Perform repairs, ply installation, trimming, and taper sanding.
Maintain tools and equipment; replace filters, cutters, and coolant as needed.
Move materials using shop equipment and overhead cranes.
Cross-train in inspection; capture and validate measurement data.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Proficient in hand/mechanical sanding and filler application for composite repair and surface prep.
Skilled in mixing/applying primers, topcoats, and coatings; experienced with HVLP and other spray systems.
Strong surface prep, masking, defect detection, and spray equipment maintenance skills.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
