PDS Tech Commercial, a leading talent partner for cutting-edge industries, is seeking a skilled IT Project Manager to join our client’s dynamic team in Fort Worth, TX. In this highly visible role, you’ll oversee complex software development and IT infrastructure projects that drive real business transformation.

What You'll Do

As IT Project Manager, you'll lead the complete lifecycle of multiple concurrent IT and software projects—from strategic planning and stakeholder alignment to execution and delivery. You will:

• Manage full-cycle software development and IT infrastructure projects across Agile and Waterfall environments

• Collaborate across business and IT functions to implement impactful change

• Create, track, and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets

• Manage project scope, identify and mitigate risks, and resolve issues quickly

• Communicate progress and status updates to executives and cross-functional stakeholders

• Guide implementation vendors, internal technical teams, business analysts, and architects

• Ensure projects align with SDLC and enterprise architecture standards

• Conduct post-implementation reviews to drive continuous improvement

• Mentor junior Project Managers and foster best practices

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in IT or software project management

• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure and software development projects

• Experience managing large, cross-functional project teams

• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies

• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines

• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making capabilities

• Strong organizational change management experience (preferred)

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field

• PMP certification preferred
