JOB TITLE: Lab Test Technical Designer
LOCATION: Seattle, WA
PAY RATE: $38.50/hour

Summary:

Support both commercial and military programs by developing and maintaining engineering product definitions and instrumentation for lab test environments.

Develop and maintain engineering product definition for lab test requirements.

Prepare and modify design layouts using engineering design software.

Participate in design reviews (PDRs and CDRs) and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).

Support system/component/installation design to meet specifications.

Coordinate with design, manufacturing, and fabrication teams.

Incorporate drawing changes to support business and lab test needs.

Review mechanical/structural design requirements and configuration management compliance.

Investigate and resolve moderately complex design or manufacturing issues.

Required Qualifications:

1+ years of experience with engineering and design software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, CREO).

2+ years of experience with conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design, including 2D drawings and 3D models.

AA degree in a related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Regular and predictable attendance is required.

Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Skills:

Experience in Test and Evaluation Engineering.

Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.

Effective communicator with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Self-starter with a proactive mindset.
