Summary:
Hands-on, factory-floor role ideal for engineers who enjoy solving problems in real time and collaborating with production teams.
Act as the primary engineering contact on-site turning design into reality and ensuring safe, efficient manufacturing.
Analyze and disposition non-conformances; identify root causes and solutions
Research technical/quality issues and implement engineering resolutions
Ensure compliance with design principles and standards
Recommend and manage corrective actions for design deviations
Collaborate with production teams, suppliers, and IPTs throughout product lifecycle
Design structural repairs and perform static strength analysis
Support NDT procedure development and ensure quality standards
Provide engineering input for accident investigation and disabled product support
Participate in onsite builds, repairs, and post-production operations
Requirements:
Bachelor s or Master s in Engineering (ABET accredited)
5+ years of experience in structures, systems, design, or production engineering
2+ years of MRB experience
Must be able to work in factory conditions (stairs, high noise, chemical exposure, etc.)
May require shift changes, weekend work, or travel
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications:
In-depth knowledge of materials (steel, aluminum, titanium), machining, and post-processing
Proficiency with GD&T, Spatial Analyzer, and metrology methods
Understanding of gear/shaft systems and functional test requirements
Familiarity with corrosion protection, heat treatment, and repair methods
