JOB TITLE: Avionics Installer I

Summary:

Assist with the removal and installation of avionics and electrical components, fabrication of wire harnesses, terminations, ring-out, and functional testing of avionics/electrical systems.

Assist with installation, modification, and fabrication of wiring and electrical components per blueprints, worksheets, and engineering drawings.

Support timely completion of assigned tasks.

Help maintain required logs and records.

Comply with FOD prevention, tool control, 5S, and all safety regulations.

Properly care for and maintain shop equipment and tools as assigned.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required.

Entry-level position; (6) months of accredited aviation electronics schooling or general electrical experience preferred.

Technical certificate in aircraft electrical assembly or completion of a youth apprenticeship program preferred.

Must be able to use a multimeter.

General knowledge of regulatory requirements and customer specifications.

Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Basic computer skills and general software knowledge required.

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
