Summary:

Oversees the manufacturing of completed units by coordinating activities such as:

Assembly of components into subassemblies

Joining of structural assemblies (metallic and non-metallic)

Installation of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems using fasteners (screws, bolts, rivets, solder, crimping/swaging, connectors, adhesives)

Testing using mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment

Collaborates with engineering, management, suppliers, and customers to ensure product requirements are met and accepted.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED

Familiarity with aircraft structures, systems, and subassembly processes (metallic and composite).

Ability to read aerospace engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and work instructions.

Skilled in using aerospace-grade fasteners such as Hi-Loks, rivets, torque bolts, and blind fasteners.

Experience with installation and troubleshooting of aircraft systems (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic).

Competent with hand and power tools commonly used in aerospace manufacturing, including torque tools, rivet guns, and crimpers.

Ability to accurately complete logs, inspection reports, and digital records in accordance with FAA or company standards.

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
