JOB TITLE: Toolmaker Jig and Fixture

Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and schematics

Design and build jigs, templates, tools, and dies

Set up and operate machine tools (CNCs, lathes, drills, grinders, milling machines)

Measure, cut, shape, grind, and fit metal stock to precise tolerances

Inspect finished tools and dies for accuracy, defects, and finish quality

Troubleshoot and resolve complex fabrication issues

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED

Apprenticeship or equivalent hands-on experience

Proficient in machine tools and CNC operation

Strong attention to detail and advanced problem-solving skills

Team-oriented and self-motivated

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
