Summary:
Supports MV-22 Modification and Maintenance Teams by assembling, disassembling, and modifying aerospace systems and components to correct issues or implement upgrades.
Performs complex troubleshooting on pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and avionics systems.
Responsible for validation, repair, documentation, and inspection to ensure airworthiness and regulatory compliance. Works independently under general direction.
Perform aircraft maintenance, modifications, and repairs on V-22 systems (Airframe or Electrical/Avionics focus)
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical/electrical faults using diagnostic tools and procedures
Conduct functional/verification testing on systems and components
Document all work performed in accordance with contractual and regulatory requirements
Inspect, validate, and verify component repairs and modifications
Support training and quality assurance efforts as needed
Ensure compliance with FOD control, tool control, and safety protocols
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
4+ years of related experience or equivalent (e.g., vocational school + 2 years, or Bachelor s)
Hands-on experience with V-22 maintenance and modification
Understanding of general aircraft maintenance procedures and environment
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications:
FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License
Quality Assurance or Depot-level modification experience
