PDS Tech Commercial is excited to partner with a leading customer in the aviation industry. We’re seeking an experienced Manufacturing Planner to join the team and contribute to the modernization of one of aviation’s most iconic aircraft. In this role, your planning and process expertise will directly influence production efficiency, quality, and performance on a high-visibility program.
What You’ll Do
As a Manufacturing Planner, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain build and installation plans. Your work ensures accurate, timely, and effective instructions that drive manufacturing success.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Developing, revising, and reviewing build and installation plans for the B-52J program.
Creating and maintaining detailed work instructions and production documents.
Analyzing engineering drawings and source data to determine manufacturing impact.
Ensuring all documentation complies with industry, customer, and company standards.
Leading data analysis and identifying areas for improvement.
Collaborating with project teams, subject matter experts, and engineering groups.
Guiding and mentoring team members during execution.
Supporting producibility reviews and troubleshooting technical issues.
Maintaining data in web-based tools and systems like CMPRO, MANTIS, and ADO.
Participating in quality assurance efforts under AS9100D standards.
What You Bring to the Table
Basic Qualifications:
1+ year of experience in aircraft wiring, structures, or systems installation and planning.
Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in aircraft modifications.
Experience creating installation work instructions and supporting producibility reviews.
Proficiency in troubleshooting complex planning or production issues.
Familiarity with tools such as GOLDesp, CATIA V5, IVT, MANTIS, ADO, CMPRO.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).
Education & Experience:
Associate degree + 3 years of experience, OR
Bachelor’s degree + 1 year of experience, OR
5+ years of related work experience with a high school diploma/technical degree.
