Location: Cherry Point, NC | starting Pay $36.60/hr | First Shift: Mon–Fri, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Are you passionate about aviation maintenance and ready to work on some of the most advanced aerospace vehicles in operation? PDS Tech Commercial is looking for an experienced Aerospace Products Repair and Modification Technician to join a high-impact team in Cherry Point, NC. In this role, your work will directly support the readiness, safety, and performance of V-22 Osprey aircraft—an essential asset in both military and defense operations.
Perform hands-on maintenance, repair, and modification of MV-22 aircraft systems
Disassemble, assemble, and replace aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or install upgrades
Troubleshoot complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems with minimal guidance
Perform and document system validations and verification testing
Inspect and verify components to ensure flight-worthiness and serviceability
Assist in quality assurance processes and ensure regulatory compliance
Collaborate with engineers and team members to resolve discrepancies and execute precision repairs
Support training initiatives and promote best practices in maintenance safety and performance
Basic Requirements:
4+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance, including V-22 modification and repair
Proficiency in either Electrical/Avionics or Airframes systems
Knowledge of general aerospace maintenance procedures (FOD control, tool control, safety)
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications:
FAA Airframe and Powerplant License
Quality Assurance or depot-level modification experience
Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with maintenance documentation processes
