Starting Pay: $69.61 /hour

PDS Tech Commercial is hiring Associate, Experienced, and Senior Level Manufacturing Engineers to support one of the most transformative upgrades in military aviation history: a large-scale commercial engine replacement program on a legacy aircraft platform. This is your opportunity to make a lasting impact on a high-profile modernization effort that will extend the operational life of a critical asset for decades.
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you'll shape the build and installation plans for next-generation systems—bringing precision, performance, and excellence to every stage of production.
Develop, revise, and review installation plans and production documentation
Author detailed, step-by-step work instructions for component installation and system integration
Analyze engineering drawings, technical modifications, and production data to inform planning decisions
Conduct process improvement assessments using data analysis and root cause evaluation
Ensure documentation accuracy and compliance with AS9100D and internal quality standards
Maintain technical data in web-based systems and authoring platforms
Collaborate across disciplines—working with engineers, subject matter experts, and planners
Mentor team members and lead initiatives within your area of expertise
Drive solutions to complex technical problems with speed, creativity, and sound engineering judgment
Basic Requirements:
1+ years of experience with aircraft wiring, structural, or systems planning and installations
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of aircraft modification experience
Familiarity with installation work instructions and producibility reviews
Experience troubleshooting engineering and manufacturing issues
Proficiency with tools such as: CATIA V5, GOLDesp, MANTIS, ADO, CMPRO, IVT, EBOM/MBOM reconciliation
Senior (Level 4):
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field and 9+ years of related experience
(Equivalent combinations: PhD + 4 years, Master’s + 7 years)
ABET accreditation preferred but not required.
