PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join a world-class aerospace team supporting the B-52 Commercial Engine Replacement Program (CERP) in Oklahoma City, OK. Location: Oklahoma City, OK (100% onsite at facility)
Type: Full-Time Consultant | 6-Month Contract (potential to extend)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 9x80 work schedule
Starting Pay: $69.61 /hour
Overtime: Yes, up to 25%
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.

In this role, you’ll be instrumental in creating and refining the build and installation plans for the B-52J re-engine program. Your engineering insight will support mission-critical modifications and ensure manufacturing excellence from start to finish.
Develop, revise, and maintain work instructions for component and system installations
Analyze data and production processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and compliance
Collaborate with project teams and subject matter experts to maintain manufacturing documentation
Lead or participate in producibility reviews and installation planning for aircraft systems
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues impacting production or cost
Support cross-functional teams by offering guidance and mentoring during execution phases
Maintain data within web-based tools and uphold documentation standards
Ensure adherence to AS9100 D quality management system standards
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to align engineering goals with execution plans
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field
9+ years of related experience; or Master's with 7+ years; or PhD with 4+ years
One or more years working with aircraft wiring, structures, or systems installation and planning
Strong understanding of manufacturing methods, fabrication processes, and quality standards
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
3+ years of experience in aircraft modification projects
Experience with installation work instructions and producibility reviews
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex manufacturing issues
Familiarity with tools such as:
GOLDesp, CATIA V5, IVT, CMPRO, MANTIS, EBOM/MBOM reconciliation, ADO, PowerPoint
