Location: Oklahoma City, OK (100% onsite at facility)
Type: Full-Time Consultant | 6-Month Contract (with potential to extend)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 9x80 work schedule
Starting Pay : $42.07 /hour
Must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking Associate, Experienced, and Senior Level Manufacturing Planners to support one of the most significant upgrade efforts in military aviation history—the B-52J Commercial Engine Replacement Program. Your work will directly contribute to modernizing a legendary aircraft while ensuring production and planning excellence.
Develop, revise, and review installation and build plans for B-52 aircraft systems.
Author detailed work instructions for aircraft component installation and modification.
Create and maintain accurate production documentation, training materials, and plans.
Analyze engineering data to ensure manufacturability and process optimization.
Perform root cause analysis and recommend solutions to complex production issues.
Collaborate with multi-functional teams, including engineers, fabricators, and program managers.
Ensure adherence to AS9100D and company-specific quality management standards.
Contribute to manufacturing readiness assessments and process planning strategies.
Mentor team members and support knowledge sharing across project execution.
Maintain and manage data within online tools and systems.
Basic Qualifications:
1+ years of experience with aircraft wiring, structures, or systems planning/installation.
Familiarity with standard manufacturing methods and processes.
Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in aircraft modification planning.
Knowledge of producibility reviews and installation documentation.
Experience troubleshooting technical issues in a production or planning environment.
Exposure to tools like CATIA V5, GOLDesp, MANTIS, CMPRO, ADO, IVT, EBOM/MBOM.
Education / Experience Requirements:
Typically requires an Associate degree and 3+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination such as a Bachelor's + 1 year of experience, or 5+ years of relevant experience.
