Summary:
Support the development and integration of flight simulation systems using MATLAB, SIMULINK, C++, and FORTRAN.
Collaborate with subsystem and software engineers to integrate MATLAB and C++ models into 6-DOF Integrated Flight Simulations (IFS)
Perform modeling and simulation tasks for system survivability, Safety of Flight (SOF), trade studies, and end-to-end kill chain assessments
Use simulations to support Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) lab testing
Support integration and testing of hardware/software in HWIL environments
Assist in flight test predictions and post-flight data analysis
Requirements:
Active Secret Clearance (Final) required at time of start
Bachelor s degree in Engineering or Physics
Experience in rotary-wing vehicle design, particularly in Guidance and Control law development.
Proficient in C++
Experience with FORTRAN and 6-DOF simulations
Background in aerospace applications
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Desired Qualifications:
Proficiency in MATLAB, C++, and/or Python
Prior experience in rotary-wing vehicle development
Willingness to work onsite in a classified lab
Availability to travel occasionally for flight test support (up to 2 weeks)
Experience with HWIL integration and testing
