PDS Tech Commercial is hiring a skilled Machinist for a contract opportunity in the aerospace industry. In this critical role, you’ll machine high-precision components that support advanced systems and ensure quality and performance at every stage of the process.

What You’ll Do:

• Set up and operate CNC and manual machine tools, including lathes, mills, and grinders

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering specs, and technical drawings

• Execute unique part setups with tight tolerances and exacting standards

• Use tools like Swiss micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and standard micrometers

• Fit and assemble precision parts into mechanical equipment

• Ensure quality through in-process checks and documentation

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-first workspace

• Accurately complete all required production paperwork

What You’ll Need to Bring:

Required:

• 5+ years’ experience on 3-Axis CNC machines (4- or 5-Axis a plus)

• Experience running manual machines and performing setup

• Familiarity with Mazatrol and Fanuc (HAAS) controls

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and production diagrams

• Strong foundation in shop math, tooling, feeds, and speeds
  
  This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

Preferred:

• CAD/CAM experience using Mastercam, SolidWorks, or NX Siemens

• Advanced skills in 5-axis simultaneous machining using Fanuc (HAAS) controls
