Be the Backbone of Facility and Equipment Reliability
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Bethpage, NY. In this vital role, you will perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks that support the continuous operation of plant facilities, machinery, and equipment. Your work will directly impact production uptime, safety, and overall operational efficiency in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Perform hands-on work in multiple trades, including:

• Carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, welding, and sheet metal fabrication

• Machine and equipment repair

1. Conduct inspections and maintenance to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operations

2. Use hand and power tools, as well as blueprints, wiring diagrams, layouts, and technical drawings

3. Troubleshoot and repair various systems across the facility

4. Support building operations, including:

5. Boiler systems

6. Electrical and plumbing systems

7. Alarm and monitoring systems

   What You Bring to the Role:

   Required Qualifications:

   • Hands-on experience in one or more maintenance trades

   • Proficiency in reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documents

   • Familiarity with boiler systems, building alarms, and general infrastructure

   • Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
     
     This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
