PDS Tech Commercial, a leading force in aerospace staffing, is partnering with a top aerospace company to find an experienced Systems Engineer Support Analyst to support the cutting-edge AEW&C (Airborne Early Warning and Control) avionics team. In this role, your data-driven insights and systems thinking will directly support the success of national defense missions by aligning engineering objectives with program schedules and performance metrics.
You’ll play a key role in supporting cross-functional teams and leadership to track progress, monitor supplier performance, and prepare high-visibility presentations that inform decision-making at the highest levels.
What You’ll Do
Collect, analyze, and synthesize technical, budgetary, and schedule data to support decision-making.
Build and present performance dashboards, earned value reports, and risk assessments.
Coordinate with engineers, project managers, suppliers, and customers to track project health and progress.
Drive process improvement efforts and help maintain alignment with business and mission objectives.
Create briefings for leadership to communicate key metrics, identify risks, and present corrective action plans.
Support systems-level integration, supplier performance tracking, and program controls using tools like Azure DevOps and Microsoft Office.
Qualifications – What You Bring
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, data science, or a related technical discipline.
5+ years of experience in systems engineering support or program analytics.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong analytical skills with experience tracking budget, schedule, and performance data.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred:
Aerospace or defense program experience.
Familiarity with aircraft avionics and product lifecycle management.
Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) principles.
Experience using Azure DevOps (ADO) for program tracking.
Ability to mentor others in tools, process improvements, and data analysis.
