PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a highly organized and resourceful Staff Analyst to support the Business Operations & Knowledge Management needs of a major aerospace client’s Law & Global Compliance (L&GC) organization. This dynamic role will give you the opportunity to lead and optimize critical processes, manage complex training and project initiatives, oversee library subscriptions, and support high-level decision-making through impactful presentations and analytics.
What You’ll Do
Library & Subscription Management
Serve as primary liaison with suppliers to manage subscriptions, payments, renewals, and compliance tracking.
Oversee Ariba and financial processes including requisitions, purchase orders, invoices, and reporting.
Conduct usage audits and analyze data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve vendor management.
Develop executive-level presentations supporting subscription strategies.
Training & Professional Development
Coordinate continuing legal education (CLE) sessions and external training programs.
Manage scheduling, logistics, and communication for internal learning initiatives.
Maintain training records and analyze feedback for continuous improvement.
Project & Business Operations Management
Lead cross-functional projects from initiation to execution, ensuring timeline adherence and stakeholder alignment.
Support internal communications through the development of presentations, talking points, and rollout plans.
Manage department-wide programs like the L&GC Recognition Program, Professional Development Series, and internal newsletters.
Collaborate on initiatives to improve team effectiveness, efficiency, and resource alignment.
Required Qualifications
Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Teams and Planner.
Strong project management skills—capable of managing multiple priorities, tracking progress, and meeting deadlines.
Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and confidentiality when handling sensitive data.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Microsoft SharePoint for content and site management.
Familiarity with legal terminology, compliance, paralegal practices, and legal technology tools (e.g., e-discovery, legal databases).
Experience creating polished executive-level presentations and briefings.
Knowledge of Salesforce dashboards and reports.
Demonstrated success in streamlining workflows and implementing process improvements.
Adaptable and eager to learn in a fast-paced, change-driven environment.
