About the Role
As a Materials Scheduler, you’ll oversee forecasting, planning, and scheduling activities to align inventory levels with production capacity and customer demand. You’ll work closely with operations, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure timely and cost-effective production.
What You’ll Do
- Manage forecasting, planning, and workflow processes to support production goals
- Collaborate with operations, procurement, and logistics to meet customer expectations
- Review order quantities and inventory needs 1–3 weeks in advance
- Coordinate inventory levels with manufacturing capacity and schedule orders accordingly
- Assist production management in prioritizing assembly operations
- Work with sales to align material availability with contract volumes
- Develop structured forecasting systems using historical data and production metrics
- Monitor material flow and identify shortages or bottlenecks
- Produce reports on production performance and material availability
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure compliance with control procedures
- Drive continuous improvement in scheduling and inventory management
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; college degree is a plus
- 2–4 years of experience in production scheduling, supply chain, or a related field
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, MS Project, and/or Smartsheet
- Strong communication skills in technical environments
- Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities

- Pay Rate: $24–$26/hr.

Pay Details: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour
