Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

Maintain system security, lead remediation efforts for vulnerabilities, and ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity standards.

Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, experience in generating IATT/ATO packages, and the ability to collaborate with both engineering and compliance teams.

Requirements:

Active Top Secret security clearance

Bachelor s or Master s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry from an accredited course of study

Current DoD 8570 certification at IAT Level II / IAM Level I or higher (e.g., Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA)

Experience using analytical, collaboration, communication, and organizational skills

2+ years of experience in product security or cybersecurity engineering

2+ years of experience with industry standard cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, OWASP, DFARS)

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

2+ years of Windows/RHEL system administration experience, including installation, tuning, and troubleshooting of cyber tools (e.g., ESS/HBSS, ConfigOS, Splunk)

2+ years of experience configuring, running, and scripting audit tools

Experience using Software Assurance (SwA) tools for static and/or dynamic code analysis (e.g., Fortify)

Experience with FISMA/RMF and NIST 800-53 compliance requirements

Experience leading system and component-level cyber test and evaluation, including threat and security assessments

Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to present complex technical issues clearly

Understanding of DoD defense systems architectures, mission concepts, and common system test/data analysis techniques
