Summary:

Leads and supports the implementation of strategic business initiatives, manufacturing process improvements, and tooling enhancements.

Analyzes and integrates new technologies to streamline production.

Assists in benchmarking industry best practices and integrating complex suppliers, materials, and technologies to meet delivery goals.

Develops innovative tooling solutions and manages tooling from design to decommission.

Investigates critical manufacturing issues, proposes and implements solutions, and collaborates across internal and external stakeholders.

Influences design for manufacturability and presents trade study recommendations to leadership.

Develops complex work statements and sequencing strategies, and performs risk assessments tied to schedule and work scope.

Operates under consultative direction and contributes to long-term strategic manufacturing goals.

Requirements:

Associate s degree in a related discipline

9+ years of aerospace manufacturing planning experience

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Experience writing and revising work instructions

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

Systems knowledge: PDM, CAPP, CMES
