PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Wiring Installation Design Technician to support the iconic 777 program in Everett, WA. About the Role:
As a Wiring Installation Design Technician, you will contribute directly to the design and routing of aircraft wiring systems. Your work will help ensure the seamless integration and performance of complex electrical networks onboard one of the most advanced commercial aircraft in production.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Develop and release electrical and mechanical drawings using company, industry, and regulatory standards
Utilize CATIA V5 and 3D modeling tools to perform wire routing design across the aircraft
Create and maintain installation and part designs ranging from simple to moderately complex
Support system design validation and ensure designs meet functional requirements
Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to align on deliverables and resolve design discrepancies
Incorporate engineering changes and document updates as needed
Position Details:
Location: Everett, WA
Job Type: Full-time, 6-month consultant
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Starting Pay: $41.49 per hour
What You Bring to the Team:
Required Skills:
4+ years of experience as a Technical Designer
Proficiency with CATIA V5 and 3D modeling
Hands-on experience with wire routing design in aerospace or similar industries
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to design accuracy
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred Background:
Associate degree or higher in a related technical discipline
Experience supporting large-scale commercial aircraft programs
