About the Role:
As a Test & Evaluation Engineer, you will be embedded in a high-tech lab environment, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to validate critical electrical systems and influence design integrity through robust test practices. This role supports both current projects and the long-term vision of our client’s electrical system test lab.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and verify test methods and procedures

• Define configurations and instrumentation to reduce risk and optimize results

• Design test hardware, software, and systems to meet requirements

• Use computer-aided design and simulation tools to verify designs

• Troubleshoot electrical systems and read electrical diagrams

• Analyze, process, and format test data to customer specifications

• Prepare and present test reports and archive results

• Train and support others on testing processes

• Work with cross-functional teams and interface with internal customers

Work Schedule & Details:

• Location: Seattle, WA (on-site)

• Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

• Type: Full-time Consultant (12 months)

• Starting Pay : $52.69 per hour

What You’ll Need:

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry

• At least 1 year of experience with electrical and electronic technologies

• At least 1 year of experience with CAD and simulation tools
  
  This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in wire design

• Experience with electrical design tools (e.g., WCAD, Zuken E3)

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite

• Experience working with customers to coordinate test requirements

• Understanding of mechanical systems

• ABET-accredited degree is preferred
