JOB TITLE: RF Test Technician
LOCATION: Clearwater, FL
PAY RATE: Up to $30/hour

Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Shift: Monday Thursday, 3:30 PM 2:00 AM (OT available on weekends)

Summary:

Set up and conduct tests on electronic circuit card assemblies, RF circuits, and subassemblies following established methods, procedures, and specifications

Lay out and assemble production electronic equipment; adjust and calibrate systems as needed

Troubleshoot analog, digital, and RF circuits to the component level using schematic diagrams

Replace or adjust parts to correct malfunctions

Perform testing using tools such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, signal generators, and RF power meters

Determine appropriate test types, analyze results, and recommend product or process improvements

Document maintenance actions accurately using Microsoft Suite and other data collection tools

Use hand tools, test equipment, and power tools to support assembly and testing

Collaborate with engineers to develop and refine test procedures for new products

Verify product quality using statistical process control or other quality assurance procedures

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent, with technical training equivalent to an Associate degree

1+ year of hands-on experience testing electronic assemblies

Proficient in troubleshooting solid-state, digital, and RF circuitry

Experience with flying probe and high-power testing

Strong knowledge of solid-state devices and micro-circuitry

Familiarity with radar systems

Extensive experience in RF testing (1 2 years)

Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
