JOB TITLE: Autoclave Operations Technician I

Summary:

Assist with the setup, loading, and operation of autoclaves and auxiliary equipment to cure and bond metallic, fiberglass, and carbon fiber aircraft parts.

Perform basic setup and operation of autoclaves and auxiliary equipment.

Assist with selecting and organizing parts for bonding based on processing requirements and autoclave capacity.

Help position racks and tools containing parts/assemblies into autoclaves.

Connect thermocouples and vacuum lines to appropriate fittings.

Retrieve, prep, and release lay-up tools from storage.

Support tool breakdown, cleaning, and proper storage after curing.

Maintain a clean, organized work area; follow all safety and FOD/5S guidelines.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Basic computer knowledge

Valid driver s license required (to obtain GAC cart/forklift license)

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing procedures

Q-Stamp (to be obtained within 12 months)

Familiarity with overhead cranes, forklifts, and electric tow mules

Basic math and computer skills

Able to lift up to 40 lbs and work any shift

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
