LOCATION: Clearwater, FL
PAY RATE: Up to $28/hour

Job Details:
Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)
Shift: 2nd Shift Monday to Thursday, 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM (Overtime available on weekends)

Summary:
Perform in-process and final visual inspections of electronic units, cable assemblies, and electromechanical systems using predefined methods, procedures, and specifications. Inspects for structural flaws, internal defects, and missing components such as welds or crimps.
Utilize a variety of measuring tools, including micrometers, dial indicators, and scales.
Determine product acceptance, rejection, or rework needs based on inspection results.
Review blueprints, diagrams, inspection instructions, and customer specifications. Ensures product quality in accordance with IPC-A-620 standards and other applicable procedures.
Inspect soldered and crimped cable assemblies per IPC-A-620 standards
Identify non-conformances and document findings accurately
Collaborate respectfully with assemblers, testers, engineers, and management to resolve quality concerns
Perform basic cable assembly tasks when needed
Interpret technical drawings, diagrams, revision-controlled documents, and work instructions
Read and interpret wire harness prints and perform thorough visual inspections
Adhere to established quality processes and standards
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
IPC-A-620 certification and solder/crimp inspection experience required
Strong background in cable assembly and inspection
Proficient in reading and understanding technical documentation
Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Basic computer proficiency
Must be able to read and write in English
Team player with a collaborative mindset
Ability to pass a medical screening exam
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
