Location: Dallas, TX | Job Type: Full-time, 6-Month Consultant
Starting Pay Rate: $16.30  per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
(Includes two 15-minute breaks and a 30-minute lunch)

Your Role in Keeping Innovation on Track

PDS Tech Commercial is looking for a detail-driven Shipping & Receiving clerk to support logistics operations in the dynamic aerospace industry. In this essential role, you’ll help ensure that high-value materials and critical components are received, processed, and shipped accurately and efficiently—keeping production lines running and aerospace programs on schedule.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform initial inspection of all incoming and outgoing shipments to verify identification and check for damage.

• Process shipping and receiving documentation for both internal teams and external partners.

• Handle hazardous materials in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

• Validate Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for all chemical shipments in and out.

• Maintain an accurate inventory of shipping supplies and ensure stock levels meet operational demands.

• Collaborate with logistics and production teams to ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods.

What You’ll Need

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

• Willingness to wear appropriate PPE, including steel toe or composite safety footwear.

• Experience with basic shipping/receiving processes and documentation.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures.
  
  This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with DOT regulations and hazardous materials handling.

• Previous experience working with MSDS documentation.

• Experience in a manufacturing or aerospace logistics environment.
