Shifts Available:

• Mon–Thurs, 1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM

• Mon–Thurs, 2nd Shift: 4:12 PM – 2:42 AM

• Fri–Sun, 1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Be the Backbone of Aerospace Precision

PDS Tech Commercial is hiring a Dimension Control Technician to support world-class aerospace projects in partnership with a leading global innovator. In this role, your technical craftsmanship and keen eye for accuracy will directly support the assembly of cutting-edge aerospace systems that help shape the future of defense and space exploration.

What You’ll Do

• Lay out, fabricate, and assemble standard and nonstandard jigs, fixtures, tool masters, and gauges.

• Interpret complex tool design drawings to establish and coordinate exacting tolerances across multiple planes.

• Use optical instruments to verify alignment, fit, and adjustment of intricate assemblies.

• Design and develop custom holding devices, jigs, and fixture details.

• Generate operational sequences and shop drawings for fabrication and assembly teams.

• Support assignment maintenance, inspection, and daily housekeeping activities.

• Monitor and verify quality using statistical process control or other inspection methods.

Qualifications

Required:

• Basic tool knowledge and mechanical aptitude.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and design documents.

• Comfort working with optical instruments and layout tools.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision.

• Ability to work full-time on one of the designated shifts.
  
  This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.                                               
   

Preferred:

• Experience in aerospace manufacturing or tooling.

• Familiarity with quality verification standards and procedures.

• Prior experience laying out or assembling tooling with complex angles and contours.
