Job Type: Contract (12-month term with potential for extension)
Start Time: 5:00 AM
Schedule: 4x10 (Monday Thursday)
Overtime: May be available
Clearance: Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance

Summary:
Designs manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, machining, processing, and material handling
Develops efficient machine and equipment layouts to maximize productivity within the plant
Determines sequence of operations and specifies procedures for tool and equipment fabrication and other functions impacting product performance
Adapts machine/equipment designs to factory and production conditions
Incorporates inspection and testing requirements into the production plan, as needed
Inspects machinery and tools to verify performance and initiates corrective actions to address deficiencies
Develops manufacturing processes using statistical process control (SPC) techniques and may implement those techniques
Provides engineering teams with guidance on design concepts and specifications to optimize equipment and manufacturing methods
Ensures all processes and procedures comply with relevant regulations and standards
Requirements:
This is a clearance position. Candidates must have the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance (not required to start).
Bachelor s degree required
3 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Hands-on experience with Lean Manufacturing techniques
Experience manufacturing Cable & Harness and/or Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) per specifications IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, and IPC-WHMA-A-620
3 5 years of experience with MIL-SPEC Cable & Harness and/or MIL-SPEC CCA assembly
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
