JOB TITLE: Aircraft Final Line Mechanic I - 2nd Shift
LOCATION: Savannah, GA
PAY RATE: $25.65/hour

Summary:
Work in a team-oriented environment to install parts, components, cables, and systems using proper tools, prints, and specifications. Ensure all work meets quality standards and passes final inspection.
Assemble, install, and adjust aircraft structures and system components (e.g., control surfaces, landing gear, engines, doors)
Rig control cables, sectors, and linkages
Remove and replace components and fit system lines as needed for basic repairs
Ensure quality and efficiency in all installations; perform necessary rework for conformity
Install system lines, valves, and ducts to ensure leak-free operation
Use tools such as permaswage pumps, cutting tools, checking tools, and gauges
Maintain detailed logs and records (e.g., MIR sheets, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs)
Check own work for defects before final inspection
Keep work area neat; follow FOD, 5S, and safety protocols
Support continuous improvement efforts and certification/flight test activities as required
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required
1 year of aerospace/aviation experience or equivalent mechanical experience (e.g., automotive, heavy equipment)
A&P license may offset the one year of required experience
Experience with Solumina and SmarTeam preferred
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
Proficient with drilling, reaming, and fitting parts
Capable of climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, and lifting up to 50 lbs
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
